STEVE BELL is an actor and professional boxer, currently appearing in Coronation Street as soldier Quinny. Among his other television credits are Shameless, Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, The Street and Moving On.
Steve first came to worldwide prominence in 1998 when he starred alongside rock legend Roger Daltrey and Dani Behr in critically acclaimed movie, Like It Is.
After appearing in the cult Film 4 production he took time out to concentrate on his flourishing international boxing career.
He was one of Britain’s most successful amateur boxers ever, captaining England over 30 times, including the 2002 Commonwealth Games when it was hosted in his hometown, Manchester.
Steve turned professional in 2002.  He is currently Central Area super-featherweight champion and recently challenged for the Commonwealth title.
He has now returned to his first love and is fully-committed to forging a career as a television, film and stage actor.
